The CS550 features a 10.4" LCD Monitor and DVR recorder all contained within an extremely rugged case. The complete unit weighs only 12kgs, and features a strong carry handle, allowing easy transportation.

Surveys can be recorded to either the built in 250GB HDD, or alternatively direct to USB memory stick. Files stored on the HDD can be transfered to USB memory stick, or to a PC using a USB connection.  The DVR is designed with ease of use in mind, and as such navigation through the menus is particularly simple and fast.

Files are recorded in an MPEG format, and can be viewed using most standard software.

The unit also features a 16 page text writer, which uses the familiar QWERTY keyboard. The text writer unit, like the DVR, is designed with ease of use in mind, and features an equally simple menu structure . A time and date display is also incorporated into the unit.

Included in the kit is the CS106 Inspection Coiler featuring an 80m fibreglass rod, as well as the CS169 Horizon Camera.
