The CL2000 is a versatile CAN bus logger designed for standalone data logging and real-time USB streaming. Equipped with an 8 GB SD card, it can record CAN bus data with precise timestamping facilitated by its real-time clock, essential for accurate post-analysis. This device is particularly suited for vehicle fleet management, diagnostics, reverse engineering, and prototype testing due to its compact size and low cost. Its CAN interface supports various protocols like J1939, CANopen, NMEA, and OBD2, making it adaptable for numerous vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The CL2000 can also detect bit-rate automatically and be powered directly via a CAN connector or USB for configuration without additional power sources. Moreover, its support for cyclical logging ensures continuous data collection by overwriting old data when space runs out, providing a continuous logging solution. Its low power consumption allows it to be left connected without excessive drain on the vehicle’s battery.
The plug & play CL2000 CAN logger records CAN bus data to an 8 GB SD card and timestamps it with a real-time clock.
Further, the CL2000 can operate as a CAN bus interface for real-time USB streaming.
The CAN logger is ideal for vehicle fleet management (trucks, buses, harvesters, cars, ...), prototype field testing, diagnostics or reverse engineering.
