Zetas - Cartridge Filter
Cartridge filters are mechanical filters used to separate solids in all liquids, especially water sources, selected according to the application area and area. Cartridge filters are generally used inside the filter body, mounted on a plumbing. For the minimum pressure loss on the filter body connection, it is desirable to have a connection diameter at least as much as the line diameter. Cartridge filter size selection is available as 5” / 10″ / 20″ / 30″ / 40″ / 60”. The micron range (pore diameter) of the cartridge filters is between 200 microns and 0.1 microns sensitive. Cartridge filters are suitable for use in different areas of many industries. They can be used for different purposes and applications, from the most delicate filtration to the coarsest filtration degree. Cartridge filters are divided into 3 classes.

- Depth Filtration Cartridge Filter – (Depth Filters; General Electric – Suez Purtrex, Hytrex, RO.Save Zplex, Hypure)
- Surface Filtration Filters – (Surface Filters; General Electric – Suez Flotrex)
Cartridge filters are generally preferred for water with impurities lower than 100 ppm. They are used at many points of businesses and processes. ESC Treatment Technologies, GE HYTREX, GE PURTREX, GE ROSAVE etc. General Electric SUEZ brand process cartridge filters are also used in many processes such as water purification systems, sea water, oil-water filtration, Cataphoresis systems, solvent and paint filtration.
