Celazole PBI (polybenzimidazole) is a unique and highly stable linear heterocyclic polymer. Celazole PBI (polybenzimidazole) is a unique and highly stable linear heterocyclic polymer. PBI is an engineered thermoplastic that has exceptional characteristics such as high compressive strength, high modulus, low creep, and solubility in few solvents. PBI is also known for its exceptionally high glass transition temperature (Tg) of 427C. This high performance polymer can be molded for use in high performance applications. PBI can also be compounded with other polymers or cast into a coating, film or membrane.
