Transformers, in the range from 50 kVA to 3150 kVA, are made with electrolytic copper windings and, on demand, with electrostatic screen connected to a bushing. The cores are made of grain oriented high permeability magnetic steel. The normal construction is a hermetically sealed type which needs no maintenance during its life time; these transformers are designed to have a life expectancy over 25 years.
