To this aim, the Group has adopted a business organisation based on two large divisions: the Separation Solutions Division and the Olive Oil Division.

SEPARATION SOLUTIONS DIVISION
The Pieralisi Group provides solutions to all technological problems of solid-liquid and solid-liquid-liquid separation, thanks to the great experience and know-how developed over time in the most important industrial centrifuge markets.
Pieralisi decanters and vertical centrifuges with a wide variety of capacities are suitable for a vast range of application areas, such as:

Environmental Area, where the Pieralisi Group provides state-of-the-art solutions to treatment and disposal processes of sludge from municipal and industrial waste water. The Group also offers solutions for the drying of biomass and animal slurry and thermal sludge drying processes.

Chemical Area, in which Pieralisi operates in production processes involving intermediate or end chemical products and integrated recycling and recovery processes, in processes within HDPE, PVC and PP polymer production. In addition, the Group is also involved in production processes for the pharmaceutical and biotech sector, as well as in the production of ores and minerals. Moreover, Pieralisi operates in production processes for non-fossil fuels, such as biodiesel and ethanol.

Recycling Area, where the Group is involved in treatment processes for drilling mud, in the treatment and recycling of industrial fluids, in the recycling of polymers and their respective recyclables, as well as in the recycling of service water in industrial processes.

Oleo-chemical Area, in which Pieralisi operates in production processes for oleochemistry derivates and in the treatment and recovery of edible vegetable oils, excluding olive oil.

Mineral- Fuel and Lube Oils Area, where the Group offers solutions for the purification and conditioning of fuels, for the purification of lube oils, for the treatment and recovery of mineral and fuel oils, the treatment of slop-oils from refineries and lagoons, of slops from lube oils, of bilge water.

Animal-Based Products Area, in which Pieralisi operates in the treatment of by-products from the fish-processing and meat-processing industries.

Food and Beverage Area, where the Group is involved in the processing and recovery of any food or drink, from the extraction of fruit and vegetables juices, to the processing of solid foods, until the extraction of food additives and wine processing.

Vegetable and Animal Milk Products Area, in which Pieralisi is active in the purification and clarification processes of vegetable and animal milk products, in the heat treatment of milk and dairy products and in the recycling of related waste materials.

OLIVE OIL DIVISION
The key to Pieralisi’s success in the olive oil sector is the continual testing of innovative high-tech solutions aimed at increasing customers’ olive oil yield and quality.
This commitment dates back to Pieralisi’s introduction of the first continuous-processing decanter that revolutionised the olive oil extraction process.
