Cerulean - Model PPM Express -Manual Instrument
The PPM Express measures and displays the permeability of papers used in cigarette manufacture up to 40,000 CU (on standard clamps) and is suitable for paper types such as tipping, ventilated tipping, envelope and plug wrap. The PPM Express has been specifically designed to provide the industry with a simple, fast, easy to use, stand alone manually fed permeability measurement instrument, which utilizes familiar clamp styles used on the Cerulean PPM100 and PPM1000M.
Both individual and batch statistical results, inclusive of standard deviation and mean, are easily accessible with single touch operation. Ease of use is echoed in every aspect of the unit’s design. Calibration of the instrument is simply accomplished using familiar permeability standards developed for the Cerulean PPM100. Manual control and calibration makes the PPM Express easy to use and with a display reading flow in l/min or CU, the user can quickly review results or output results via an RS232 link to external systems.
