H2Flow - Chemical Cleaning Skid for UV Units
H2Flow Equipment presents a unique engineered solution to cleaning closed vessel UV reactors in the water and wastewater market place.
UV technologies are being intensively applied for water disinfection. A UV reactor system generally is made up of an ultraviolet emitting bulb inside a transparent quartz sleeve, all enclosed in a reactor vessel.
The sleeve being in contact with water containing scale and iron, gets fouled with such deposits. This considerably decreases the UV output through the quartz sleeve impacting the effective dose required.
Fouling causes:
- reduced disinfection
- increased power consumption
- additional labour requirement to take reactor apart manually
- increase in O & M costs
- increase in downtime
Our versatile compact cleaning system provides an efficient maintenance tool for most UV reactors. It is primarily designed to work with UV units equipped with either a manual push-pull cleaning mechanism or motorized mechanical wiper unit, but can also be used for reactors without any mechanical cleaning system at all.
H2CLEAN is made up of chemically resistant material including pump and control accessories. Cleaning liquid is made up directly in the storage tank (Only food grade Citric acid is used) and pumped into UV reactor to be cleaned. After a determined time depending on the extent of the fouling , the cleaning solution is pumped out of the reactor using the same pump into the storage tank.
H2CLEAN provides numerous advantages to UV disinfection system users:
- Compact
- User friendly
