Class - Model 100- DWS Series -Downflow Vertical Flow Work Stations
We offer the DWS Downflow Work Station units that are designed to be mounted on an existing work bench or on optional base cabinet. These units provide Class 100 vertical laminar flow atmosphere in an operator work station environment. Anodized aluminum frames with clear acrylic, polypropylene or stainless steel side and rear panels. Completely self-contained, they function effectively in an uncontrolled area. Special custom products are available without the custom cost for application specific projects.
Larger DWSDownflow Work Stations are available on free-standing anodized aluminum frames with clear acrylic, polypropylene or stainless steel side and rear panels. A hinged shield is provided at the front of the unit to contain the airflow. The unit is stationary, allowing permanent electric, gas and water services. Wet chemistry process stations, built-in or isolated vibration free work tables under the module are easily interchangeable.

All of our Vertical Flow Class 100 Work Stations feature HEPA or ULPA Fan Filter units,recessed lights, clear acrylic side panels to contain the airflow and adjustable solid state airflow control.
We offer three types of Vertical Flow Class 100 Work Stations, Downflow, Recirculating or Exhausting Stations. Choose the correct type for your application or call and speak to our experienced sales engineer for assistance.
- Standard construction is Wood board with plastic laminate exterior. Corrosive Resistant Polypropylene, Epoxy Painted Steel, 304 or 316L Stainless Steel units are also available
- Front loaded High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filter: 3” thick minipleat design 99.99% efficient @ 0.3 micron in an anodized aluminum frame, PSL tested in accordance with IEST Standards
- High Efficiency direct drive 120V motor blowers for continuous duty. Motors/Blowers are selected to maintain constant airflow rate up to twice the initial static pressure
- Solid-state speed control
- Recessed 2 pin T-8 fluorescent lighting 100 ft.candle on work surface and prismatic refractive lens cover
- Prefilters with easy replacement and maintenance
- Three-Prong 120V power cord
- Clear Satin Anodized 6063-T5 Aluminum Frame for the DWS Series
- Perforated front and rear table tops on the R and E Series units to maintain proper airflow through the unit
- Average measured clean air velocity 90 fpm (+/- 10fpm). All measured values within +/- 20% uniformity
- Individually tested and certified to meet or exceed the specifications for Unidirectional Flow Clean-Air Devices as per Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology recommended practices
