For larger volume applications, we offer our commercial grade 24" thru 48" diameter PMF Fiberglass Series. All Fiberglass bodies are manufactured from the highest grade of non-corrosive materials and employ the latest in fiberglass winding technology. We guarantee these filters will outlast traditional mechanical filtration systems and will offer owners many years of trouble free operation. Our deep bed filters are the key to our success. Within each PMF Filter, our deep media bed improves the filtration efficiency over standard high-rate filters by providing enhanced in-depth filtration and increased dirt capacity.

The filter`s 19" to 39" media bed ensures that finer dirt particles and colloidal substances are retained to a far greater level than a filter with a shallower bed depth.

Mechanical/Bio-Filtration with our all natural Clay Pellet Media

Our PMF (Pressurized Media Filters) are specifically designed to provide superior mechanical filtration in ornamental fish ponds and outdoor water features. When combining these PMF Filters with our 4-8 mm Clay Pellet Media and our specially designed bead laterals, users get a true two stage mechanical and biological filtration system. The shape and varied size of our Clay Pellet Media provides efficient solid waste capture and water polishing while providing a stationary "fixed bed" mechanical filtration process offering users with 50 um - 100 um solid capturing capabilities. The composition of our Clay Pellet Media`s porous skin and core inside each pellet provides users with a far greater amount of surface area, (230ft. /gallon), when compared to traditional filter media currently available. This media porosity also offers a protective environment for nitrifying colonies of beneficial bacteria, and in turn, optimal bio-filtration. In selecting our Clay Pellet Media inside our PMF Filters eliminates the need for a secondary stand-alone bio filter that requires more space, additional plumbing and expense to homeowners.
