Certified to reduce your sulphur emissions to below 0.1%. Effective and robust, to date our proprietary exhaust gas cleaning system (EGCS), otherwise known as a scrubber, has been installed on more than 300 vessels globally for many of the biggest names in shipping.
Multiple classification studies have confirmed that the scrubber system removes 99.9% of sulphur particles, future-proofing those vessels against the strictest of emission control zones.
The scrubber’s simple U-type (open loop) design and exceptional steel quality ensures maximum longevity, evidenced by our multi-year record of smooth operation across a variety of fleets. This design is proven to be the most cost competitive per unit as well as for ongoing OPEX, and the fastest delivery time on the market at just 12-weeks from order to installation.
The open loop precludes the need for caustic acid or wastewater to be stored onboard and operationally, there is no extra burden on the crew, with minimal training required. Over 80% of scrubbers sold globally have been open loop for these reasons (DNV Class Society 2022).
