ASCOCO2 Gas Revert Recovery System from Dry Ice Production (RRSi)

SHARE
The ASCO CO2 Gas Revert Recovery System (RRSi) is engineered to efficiently recover the revert CO2 gas from ASCO Dry Ice Pellet and Block Machines. Normally, this revert gas would be released into the atmosphere during dry ice production, where the conversion rate from liquid CO2 to dry ice stands at approximately 40-45%. This results in a significant loss of CO2, about 55-60%. The ASCO RRSi system addresses this inefficiency by recovering most of the lost CO2, thereby achieving a conversion rate of around 90-95%. This dramatic improvement not only reduces the cost of dry ice production by up to 50% but also minimizes environmental impact. The system is fully automatic with PLC operation and is designed for heavy-duty, compact, and efficient use. It comes packaged, pre-piped, and pre-wired for straightforward installation. With a capacity of handling 1,020 kg/h (2,249 lb/h) of revert CO2 gas, this system ensures optimal resource utilization and cost savings.

ASCO CO2 Gas Revert Recovery Systems are engineered to efficiently recover the revert CO2 gas from ASCO Dry Ice Pellet and Block Machines which normally direct the revert (flash) gas to the atmosphere.

When dry ice is produced the conversion rate from liquid CO2 to dry ice is approx. 40-45 %. This means 55-60 % is lost to the atmosphere. This conversation rate is a physical fact and therefore, unfortunately, not to change. With a CO2 Revert Recovery System, however, most of the CO2 can be recovered which leads to a final conversion rate of approx. 90-95 %. This way, the dry ice production costs are reduced up to 50 %.

Cost savings: Reducing dry ice production costs up to 50 % by recovering the normally “lost“ CO2 gas due to vent typical of dry ice manufacturing
Fully automatic: Automatic (PLC) operation
Design: Heavy duty, compact and efficient design
Installation: Packaged, prepiped and prewired for timely installation
Capacities: 1'020 kg/h (2'249 lb/h) revert CO2 gas, (larger sizes available on request)
