Coastie the Safety Boat
Coastie the Safety Boat is an exciting tool for teaching boat safety, Personal flotation device education (PFD), and water safety. Built exclusively by Robotronics for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary. Coastie moves, speaks, listens, plays MP3’s and activates his lights, and water squirter all by remote control. He can wink, blink, and move his eyes, and will present a friendly image to young and old alike. Coastie can be used with great success in school classrooms, assemblies, harbor tours, marinas, mall displays, local and state fairs, boat shows and any other setting where you are presenting your program.
Shaped like a real Coast Guard Cutter, Coastie is the ideal symbol for your flotilla. He is just the right size for teaching children. He can communicate with them at their eye level. He’s perfect for hugs and kisses from small friends, and with his spotlight and siren, he is highly visible. He will make your public relations program both fun and effective and will help teach valuable water safety concepts to children.
Coastie comes with everything you need to make him operate. Includes remote control lights and siren; Voice Modifier; Water Squirter; Rotating Amber Beacon; Speakers installed behind Life Preservers; Voltmeter; MP3 Player; Cleats and Fenders; Flag poles and Coastie Painting Scheme.
Each Coastie also comes with the following: An Extra RC Battery Pack, Robot Transport Cart, Robot Cover, and Extra Robot Battery.
