Gizmo Engineering - Compact Poppet Style Check Valve

This compact check valve inserts into any drum alarm to prevent backflow. Just unscrew the screen fitting and insert the poppet part and o-ring. No metal parts to corrode or contaminate your solution.

The check valve is not essential, but for pumps that are difficlut to prime like diaphragm pumps, it eliminates having to re-prime the pump when the Drumalarm is withdrawn from the working drum.

The liquid flow pushes the elastomer cone part upwards to create enough space for liquid flow. The polypropylene Drumalarms require some additional fittings to mount the poppet in the liquid suction line.
