Didion - Composite Autoclaves
A binder and a reinforcement are the two basic parts that make up the simplest of composites. Manufacturers are able to achieve their desired material traits by weaving, mixing, or layering these parts together. Therefore, these are first made as sheets. After that, the sheets can be formed to a mold. This means that parts can be made of any shape. But, what does the autoclave do in this process? It provides the required pressure, heat, and vacuum to bond and form the prepreg sheets to the shape of the mold.
We manufacture ASME certified autoclaves for the bonding of composite materials. In addition, we can build these units to meet Europe’s PED and then mark with CE. The aerospace, aircraft, automotive, and racing sectors are a few

This includes the control of all parameters such as time, pressure, temperature, and vacuum. You can control all of these separately and at the same time. There are a few methods used to cure composites. For example, one of the most common is the use of an oven with vacuum. But, there is a great advantage to using manufactured composite bonding autoclaves along with the vacuum. With an autoclave, you can heat and pressurize the vacuum bagged part at the same time. As a result, you have greater compression and better void removal.
