Vertek - Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) Trucks
Vertek’s CPT trucks can be designed to be mounted to the chassis of your choice, from a heavy-duty pick-up truck to a 6×6 chassis to reach offroad environments. We build our CPT trucks to maximize workspace and storage, optimize the user experience, and ergonomically organize tools, outlets, and cabinets for maximum productivity.
Our built-in and automated seismic hammer is integrated into the rapid hydraulic leveling system to expedite setup time-on-site and for unmatched shear wave generation. This, coupled with the weight of the vehicle, enables soundings to greater depths while completing seismic and dissipation test without interruption.
Typically, 100-foot soundings are completed in less than one hour, easily collecting over 500’ of penetration per day. Based on field experience, our interior layout provides a mobile laboratory feel, ample workspace, and climate-controlled with plenty of room for your crew and customer. Vertek can customize your workspace to meet your needs, such as options for grouting, cupolas, side doors, water tanks, sinks, etc.
We design and build to your specifications.
