Materials of Construction
Depending on their intended application, our CDB’s are constructed of stainless steel or glass-lined steel. For corrosive applications, Glasteel® provides safe containment of hazardous chemicals and has an inherent non-stick surface to prevent building and allow for proper cleaning in validated pharmaceutical applications. For non corrosive pharmaceutical applications, we provide stainless steel CDB’s with polished product contact services.

Accessories - Filtration
A corrosion resistant filter plate assembly enables the washing and filtering of contents and effective solids/liquid separation. This eliminates the need for a centrifuge and reduces the inherent risks of transfering hazardous chemicals.

Accessories - Contained transfers
We provide pressure and vacuum transfer systems, as well as drum charging systems to safely load and unload potent materials.

Accessories - Insulation and sheating
CDB’s are insulated for heat conservation and personnel protection. They are also covered with seal-welded stainless steel sheathing to allow for wash down and a clean drying environment.

Testing
Our fully-equipped Process Test Facility in Rochester, NY, USA provides drying testing services to demonstrate the capabilities of the CDB for your process. With multi-stage vacuum systems and multiple hot oil, steam and pressurized hot water systems it offers a wide test operating matrix, helping to define the optimum operating conditions.
