CleanZones - Model CWS Series -Containment Weigh Station
The Containment Weigh Station (CWS) Series units are designed for fine powder weighing. The CWS Series provides containment of contaminated air through intake at work chamber. The confined work chamber prevents airborne dust/powder from escaping into a plant’s atmosphere or the cross-contamination of other products. Dual sliding shields adjust to any desired height for exacting sampling and weighing processes. The initial disposable bag filter collects gross contaminants, and then the air passes through exhaust HEPA filters. The CWS series allows for extremely low intake velocities, protecting the accuracy of highly sensitive scales or measuring devices.

- Standard construction is Wood board with plastic laminate exterior. Corrosive Resistant Polypropylene, Epoxy Painted Steel, 304 or 316L Stainless Steel units are also available.
- Easily removed and replaced bag filter prefilters.
- Side loaded High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) EXHAUST Filter: 3” thick minipleat design 99.99% efficient @ 0.3 micron in an anodized aluminum frame, PSL tested in accordance with TEST Standards.
- High Efficiency direct drive 120V motor blowers for continuous duty. Motors/Blowers are selected to maintain constant airflow rate up to twice the initial static pressure.
- Solid-state speed control.
- Recessed 2 pin T-8 fluorescent lighting 100 ft. candle on work surface and prismatic refractive lens cover.
- Three-Prong 120V power cord.
- Clear Acrylic dual sliding front adjustable shield.
- Individually tested and certified that Exhaust HEPA filters meet or exceed the specifications for Unidirectional Flow Clean-Air Devices as per Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology recommended practices.
