Conveyor Belts


The Senro rubber belt conveyor consists of a stable open frame construction of profiled steel and sheet metal work and a drive and tensioning part. The conveyor belt is of such a design that ensures the highest reliability, limited pollution of the belt and its surroundings and minimal maintenance requirements. The standard belt material applied by Senro is EP 400/3, if required another type of material is chosen.

The conveyor belt are designed based on module lengths of maximum 3 meters. With this method it is possible to easily extend or reduce the length of the conveyor belt at a later stage. The Senro conveyor belts are constructed in accordance with the CE requirements.

The drive pulley and the tensioning pulley consist both of a steel drum, the shaft is removable. The drive pulley is crowned to make sure the belt is centre. Furthermore the drive pulley is finished with a diamond profile rubber lagging to prevent slipping of the belt. The conveyor belt is driven by an e-motor with gear reducer. If required the motor will be suitable for frequency converter operation to be able to control the speed of the conveyor belt.

The return rollers are equipped with rubber discs. This to prevent blockage or stoppage which else can lead to misalignment or damage of the belt. Return rollers within reach are protected with a special safety construction to prevent access to this area. The safety construction is easy to remove for maintenance purposes.

A scraper ensures that the belt is constantly cleaned from contamination to prevent misalignment and damage of the belt. The scraper at the front end is made from hard metal plate and is equipped with automatic spring tensioning. The second scraper is a V-scraper positioned at the inside of the conveyor belt.

The conveyor belt is designed for maximum loads and equipped with impact rolls or bars if required. Impact rolls or bars are used to prevent damage at the load section of the conveyor belt.

For various applications different designs of conveyor belts are applied, for instance a conveyor belt for biomass with high percentage of humidity requires a different design than a conveyor belt for construction and demolition waste.
