Senro is a supplier of complete sorting lines. The sorting lines are applied to several type of wastes; construction & demolition (CD), industrial waste (IW) and municipal solid waste (MSV). But also different material flows, such as wood, metal, plastics, compost. By applying a sorting line up to 95% of the material flow can be recovered and recycled.

With a dosing hopper a controlled feed to the sorting line is guaranteed. In addition the dosing hopper generates a buffer for the feed to the soring line. A correctly sized dosing hopper is of crucial importance for the operation of the sorting line. An incorrect feeding of material has a large impact and can cause upset to the remaining installation. Possible upsets are stoppage or blockage, irregular performance and not fully utilizing the capacity of the installation.

A drum screen is often used as a first step in the process of a sorting line. Senro drumscreens are developed and manufactured for a wide range of applications. And every single drumscreen is being engineered customer specific, such that it is pre-eminently suitable for the material to be processed and the required capacity. For example, the wall thickness of the drum depends on the composition of the material which is to be processed. In addition, the length and diameter of the drum is determined to the desired capacity of the installation, but also to the available space at our client. The shape and mesh size of the sieve perforation is defined in close consultation with our customer, since it is directly related to the subsequent sorting process after the drumscreen.

A windshifter is used to separate light from heavy materials with the use of an air stream. The separation is based on the difference in density and size of the materials. It can be used for fraction sizes of 5 – 500 mm and for high capacities. The airstream is created by a ventilator and a nozzle. The separation drum in the windshifter provides the separation between the heavy and light materials. The light materials are blown over the separation drum and the heavy materials fall through the air flow, or hit the separation drum, and fall down. The separation drum rotates and is constructed from stainless steel so no magnetic particles get stuck to the drum.

The Senro sorting cabins, or picking stations, are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the operator responsible for manual separation. The operators work at a conveyor line, picking belt, that passes through the sorting cabin. One or multiple picking belts can pass through the sorting cabin. The speed of the belts can be set locally.

Since 2014 Senro supplies optical separators which were developed with a completely own design and control system. By means of Near Infra-Red (NIR) technology, the Senro NIR separators are able to detect and sort a wide range of materials. In addition to the Near Infra-Red technology a colour camera can be applied with which materials can be sorted based on colour.

The Senro rubber belt conveyor consists of a stable open frame construction of profiled steel and sheet metal work and a drive and tensioning part. The conveyor belt is of such a design that ensures the highest reliability, limited pollution of the belt and its surroundings and minimal maintenance requirements. The standard belt material applied by Senro is EP 400/3, if required another type of material is chosen.

Senro supplies robot sorting machines which were developed with a completely own design and control system. With an detection unit a wide range of materials can be detected and sorted. For the application the best suited detection system will be selected. Multiple detection systems can be applied, such as Near Infra-Red (NIR), colour camera’s, 3D camera’s based on laser technology or Time Of Flight (TOF). The detection unit detects the pre-programmed materials and sends signals to the PLC software. The PLC software ensures that the robot arm is controlled correctly and will sort the targeted material.

Senro manufactures and supplies improved fabric doubling machines from a proven concept. The fabric doubling machines are easy to operate and supplied in accordance with CE requirements. The Senro fabric doubling machines have ten speed settings and are reliable and suitable for use with multiple type of fabrics.
