AmTreat - Model 2215 -Cooling Water Scale Inhibitor
AmTreat 2215 is a concentrated liquid scale and corrosion inhibitor. It is designed for use in a wide range of open recirculating cooling water systems where clean, scale and deposit-free surfaces are required for system life and efficiency. AmTreat 2215 accomplishes this with one easy to use product.
Advantages
AmTreat 2215 is very effective in high hardness, highly alkaline scaling waters. It contains a unique blend of organic and polymeric sequestrants, penetrants and dispersants to disperse and sequester contaminants such as calcium, silica, iron, sludge and organics which foul equipment heat exchanger surfaces. It also contains special organic inhibitors to establish a protective barrier against corrosion. AmTreat 2215 contains no chromate or zinc.

AmTreat 2215 is acceptable for treatment of cooling and retort water in official establishments operating under the Federal meat and poultry products inspection programs.
AmTreat 2215 is also acceptable for treating boilers, steam lines and/or cooling systems where neither the treated water nor the steam produced may contact edible products in official establishments operating under the Federal meat and poultry products inspection programs.
