HEROSE - Model 11C01 -Cryogenic Top-Entry Shut-Off Valve with Stainless Steel Housing
This cryogenic top-entry shut-off valve from HEROSE is engineered with a stainless steel housing suitable for applications demanding extreme low temperatures, down to -269°C (4K). It is primarily designed for the isolation of process streams in the cryogenic temperatures encountered in the industrial handling of hydrogen, air gases, steam, and liquefied natural gases (LNG). The valve features a 'live-loaded' spindle seal to ensure reliable sealing even under thermal expansion conditions. Manufactured to withstand pressures of up to PN63, the housing materials include EN 1.4571, which corresponds to ASTM 316TI stainless steel, known for its robustness and resistance to corrosion. Optional features include bellows seal configurations and monitoring options for added protection against leakages. The valve is available in different construction types, including straight-through and angle designs, with dimensions specified along with flow coefficients for precise operational control.
