With a shape created by random arrangement of fiber or short fiber, needle punching method is used in case of short fiber. For long fiber, spun-bonding method is used to accumulate about 200~800g/m2 and bonding is done using needle punching or heat fusion. In general, fibers form random structures with excellent dynamic and mathematical characteristics. Polypropylene and polyester fibers are minly used, and nonwoven fabric performs functions like separation, reinforcement, protection, filter and drainage.
