The Dakota FX70 Flaw Detector is a versatile, handheld device integrating advanced flaw detection with material thickness measurement capabilities. It functions both as a thickness gauge, capable of measuring coatings and material thickness, and a flaw detector, identifying the size and position of flaws, differentiating between flaw types in various materials and welded joints. User-definable pass/fail limits with audible warnings and built-in differential mode enhance quality control inspections. With up to 4GB of memory, it stores each measurement for further analysis, downloadable via USB for comprehensive data management using DakMaster™ Software. The FX70 offers multiple display modes for different user needs, from A & B-Scan displays to specific flaw detection modes like TRIG, DAC, TCG, Flank, and Peak.
