GrayWolf Zephyr - Model XM -Differential Pressure and Temperature Meter
The Zephyr XM is a sophisticated digital micromanometer designed for precise measurement of differential pressure and temperature, featuring dual auto-ranging DP sensors and auto-zeroing technology to ensure stable data logging. It supports a wide range of measurements through the use of dual K-Type thermocouple sockets, capable of reading static pressure, differential temperature, and with a pitot tube, it can directly measure air velocity. The instrument also allows for volumetric flow calculations by entering the duct's size. The Zephyr XM can utilize optional telescoping air velocity probes for enhanced accuracy in temperature and airspeed measurements, and an RH-ASX probe for humidity readings. It incorporates significant improvements over its predecessors, the Zephyr II and III, providing a stand-alone solution for instantaneous or trending log data capture. Data can be annotated with audio or text notes, managed through an intuitive interface with a capacitive touch display and downloaded via WolfSense PC software. The robust design includes rechargeable batteries and optional probes. Each Zephyr XM instrument incorporates dual auto-ranging DP sensors, auto-zeroing (for data-logging stability), as well as dual K-Type thermocouple sockets for measuring differential pressure, static pressure and differential temperature. With a pitot tube, the Zephyr provides direct air velocity readings. Volumetric flow is calculated by simply entering the size of the duct and the instrument performs the necessary calculation. Zephyr XMs can also be fitted with a telescoping air velocity probe (models AS-201 or AS-202) to measure temperature and exceptionally accurate hotwire airspeed and/or an RH-ASX probe for accurate relative humidity and °C/°F.
The Zephyr XM incorporates a number of enhancements over the Zephyr III and Zephyr II meters that it replaces, and which had been utilized by many 1000s of clients over the last 25+ years.
The Zephyr XM is a stand-alone instrument with the ability to capture instantaneous snap-shot logs, or to trend log over time. Audio and text notes, among others, may be added to the data files via a built-in microphone and the virtual keyboard. Recorded data may be downloaded to WolfSense PC reporting and analysis software, which is included, or directly download as a .csv file into spreadsheets.
