The MPOX 50 Direct Injection system is a specialized technology designed to control odors in sludge processing applications. Utilizing a proprietary formulation, MPOX 50 is directly injected into the sludge feed line before processes such as dewatering or thickening. The formulation targets and reacts specifically with odor-causing compounds including hydrogen sulphide, dimethyl sulphide, and mercaptans. This targeted chemical reaction is initiated almost instantaneously upon injection, leading to immediate elimination of sludge-related odors. Unlike traditional oxidizing agents like potassium permanganate that may react with various compounds due to high reactivity, MPOX 50 exhibits low reactivity and exclusively interacts with reduced sulphides.
