BIO-UV - Disinfection Unit
The BIO-UV disinfection unit is fully integrated into the BIONEST reactor and is easy to maintain. It is used to respond to various issues such as smaller sized lots or land which has constraints with respect to setbacks, clay soils or situations where compliance is difficult.
A simple, efficient and safe system
Designed for Bionest wastewater treatment systems, The Bionest BIO-UV unit is gravity fed and requires no pumping equipment.
Ultraviolet rays have the ability to penetrate the core of the bacteria for an efficient destruction. Wastewater treated with the BIONEST system, when paired with the BIO-UV unit, is of a higher quality than the standard for bathing water.
The effluent from the BIO-UV is dispersed to an evacuation device for discreet waste stream that is odour-free and perfectly safe. The final waste stream can thereby be drained into a ditch, swamp or pond, in accordance with local regulations.
