Our Drilling Rigs: Our 4 foot wide drilling rigs enable us to sink holes in some of the most inaccessible sites. Our compact machines ensure low ground pressure compared to conventional wheel mounted drilling rigs. We currently have 4 drilling rigs, 3 of which are Mtec 6 and the 4th drilling rig is a Massenza (see our recent projects page for information on this rig). All our drilling equipment is regularly serviced and maintained.
Although compact our machines have enough power to drill down to 200 metres. Our rigs can cater for water well drilling, drilling for geothermal energy, soakaway boreholes, (all deep well drilling.)

This specialist mud pump imported by Nicholls Boreholes from the USA has been wheel mounted for fast manoeuvring around sites between boreholes and jobs.
This pump, pumps the drilling fluid through the borehole to remove cuttings and debris to enable faster borehole drilling. It was specifically purchased for drilling boreholes in London Blue Clay which needs a high pressure and flow for efficient drilling.
