Brackish water is water that has higher salinity than fresh water but not as high as sea water. The salinity needs to be treated to make the water safe for human consumption. Depending on the characteristics of the BRACKISH WATER, EMWG’s COMPACT & MOBILE drinking water units employ various purification technologies, and combinations thereof, including rapid sedimentation, filtration, microfiltration, brackish reverse osmosis and disinfection.
