Drumline Hydrastep - Model Delta Mobrey 459600802 -Electrode Probe

The Hydrastep brand has again been sold. It is now owned by Delta-Mobrey. The 459600802 probe is a low pressure probe from Delta Mobrey (originally Solatron) that is used in the LP Rectangular Section water column. The maximum rating is 50 bar and 260 degrees C. The 459600802 probe is constructed using PTFE insulators, which can be unreliable. Drumline offers a direct replacement for the 459600802 probe. The Drumline DL459600802 is a brazed zirconia probe with an ultra tough bearing grade PTFE coating bonded to the zirconia, this provides a much more reliable probe with higher pressure ratings. Drumline use spiral wound stainless steel and graphite gaskets.

All materials are carefully selected to minimise the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) differences between the materials. This leads to a more reliable brazed joint. Every probe in helium leak tested after brazing, ensuring that even the tiniest imperfections in the braze joint are identified.
