RS - Model TX series -Dry Disconnect Couplings
This coupling series meets the most up-to-date requirements - but is designed around a basic bayonet principle according to STANAG 3756 that is tried and tested for decades, i.e.: The TX dry disconnect couplings consist of two coupling halves (male and female sections), each of which is equipped with a disc cut-off valve. Coupling is performed by pushing the male half axially into the female half. A rotary motion creates an impermeable connection between the two coupling halves. Further rotation by approximately 100° opens the valves by transmitting a sliding action into the centre of the male section, which opens a ring-shaped flow channel. During the uncoupling operation, the rotatory movement is performed in the opposite direction: The flow channel in both coupling halves is impermeably sealed before the coupling halves can be separated.
- Time and cost saving engineering - fl ow optimized design ensures highest fl ow rates and lowest pressure drop
- Low actuating force - geometrical and material innovations signifi cantly reduces internal friction resulting in high ergonomics
- Highest connection pressure – advanced sealing design allows connection & disconnection at higher line pressures
- Easy connection - connecting and disconnecting is made comfortable through superior dynamics concept
- Quickest maintenance - modular design allows maintenance even infi eld within minutes and saves time and money
- O-ring count decrease - reducing the amount of elastomeric seals by 50% minimizes maintenance costs
- High performance integrated swivel – low maintenance double ball race design, pressure neutral, with low friction & highest resistance against shear forces
- Hands on interlock device - (optional) integrated locking mechanism ensures user friendly actuation
- Stability in rough environments - superior construction guarantees stability even with high fl ow rates, pressure peaks and vibration
