Labec - Model B-FH -Ductless Fume Hood

A Fume Hood is a kind of negative pressure ventilation system for protecting the operator and the laboratory environment. Room air flows inward from the front opening of the Fume Hood and is consistently ventilated by the extraction fan. As such, contaminated fumes, vapours, toxic gasses, aerosols and corrosive substance which may be generated during experiments are prevented from spreading to the operator or into the laboratory room. Ductless Fume hoods are available in 4 sizes. They are supplied as standard with two or four chemical filters, with the option to change half or all of the filters to HEPA filter.
