OPERATION & SAFETY

• Pneumatically operated fail-to-safe brake and clutch system. Operated from the control panel as opposed to a foot brake
• New 2 speed, infinitely variable winch design offers a range of impressive line speeds and pullback performance
• Hydraulic tooling winch to assist with manual handling
• Fine feed disc brake included on the hoisting reel assembly gives the operator the fine control required when lowering heavy tooling to the ground and making up threaded tool joints. The brake is lever operated from the control panel
• Over-run device prevents the operator from pulling tooling into the top sheave on the boom
• BS EN ISO 2476-3 compliant hydraulic automatic SPT hammer available as an option. Eliminates operator input and is fully guarded to provide operator and crew safety

DRILLING POSITIONS

• Mast has a large hydraulic ram built into the main mast body which allows it to extend to a maximum working height of 5.5m and a lower height of 4m.
• Stainless steel support legs are telescopic which allow the rig to be used in areas of restricted head room. There is no longer the need for the supports to be “walked around” into position therefore greatly reducing setup space.

HYDRAULICALLY POWERED

• Driven by a water cooled modern diesel engine, hydraulic pumps provide hydraulic power to stabilisers, mast, PTO and an infinitely variable winch
• Available with a Stage V EU emissions compliant engine

ON-BOARD COMPRESSOR

• An 8m recoil air hose with 1/4” quick connect is fitted inside the rig for use with air tools and tyre inflation equipment.

STABILITY

• Levelling of the rig is made easy thanks to four hydraulic stabilising jacks. Ideal when faced with uneven terrain.

OPTIONAL CASING JACKS

• Using the PTO, Dando’s separate casing jacks can easily be coupled up to pull stuck casing.
