TBC - Model Komara 15 -Duplex Oil Skimmer
The Vikoma Komara 15 Duplex is designed as a multiuse skimmer. This skimmer can easily be changed from oleophilic discs to brushes and back again depending on the application. The bruch and disc cassettes can be changed in about two minutes without special tools. The skimmer’s profile is compact and light weight, making it great to use in restricted spaces around jetties, piers, mangroves and marshes.
The Komara Duplex 15 operates at a 98% oil to water ratio when using the highly efficient oleophilic discs. Switching to the brushes allows for collection of more viscous products via its assisted weir and comb configuration. This skimmer is also available as brush only or disc only.
The complete Komara Duplex 15 system comprises a Komara 15 Duplex skimmer head, hydraulic GP10 powerpack, IMP 65 floating pump and hose kit (50 ft hydraulics and 50 ft discharge), and interchangeable brush cartridges.
