Ecomin - Retrofit Thickeners and Retrofit Drive Units
Due to its experience in clarifiers and thickeners manufacturing, Ecomin specilizes in Retrofit thickeners and in Retrofit Drive Units. The Retrofit of a thickener is a maintenance job which is performed not only in case of mechanical problems or wear, but also in order to increase equipment performance. The Retrofit also includes replacement of rakes with the help of trained personnel.
The Retrofit Equipment refers to:
- Bridge-mounted drive units with or without mechanisms, that are used on small diameters clarifiers;
- Pier-mounted drive units applications, that are used on large diameter clarifiers
Retrofit Drive Unite are completely suitable for Eimco and Dorr-Oliver Thickeners
Retrofit drive units consist of a forged alloy steel gearing, l gearbox and torque gauge. Furthermore, the retrofit drive units are dimensionally identical to the original gearbox previously installed, in order to change the drive without any modification of existing components.
