EFLO - Constant Transfer Process (CT)
Extended Aeration Biological treatment for reduction of BOD, COD and TSS. The EFLO Constant Transfer process is conventional extended aeration treatment followed by secondary settlement, tertiary disinfection and filtration. Its most significant advantage over gravity transfer plants is that there is no direct connection between inflow and outflow. All surges of inflow, regardless of rate, can be stored in aeration tank. Sewage from aeration tank is pumped at constant rate resulting in consistent effluent quality in terms of TSS and BOD content.
The Eflo Constant Transfer packaged plants are designed and constructed to achieve a final effluent of 10/10 in terms of BOD5/TSS. Tertiary TSS reduction can be offered via Upflow clarifier or pressure sand filter. Plants are available in different configurations. Packaged plants in epoxy coated or glass lined steel tanks are available as basic configuration. Complete E&M STP package for concrete tanks can be offered as well. Necessary blowers, sand filters, chlorine dosing and control panel can be housed in a machinery room or can be factory assembled and mounted in an air-conditioned and insulated modified standard ISO container. Treated water quality after tertiary treatment exceeds the international standards for treated sewage water discharge and reuse in restricted irrigation.
