GISMAModel Series 22 -Electrical and Hybrid Connectors

SHARE

The Series 22 hybrid connectors by GISMA are specifically crafted for long-term underwater applications, featuring a rugged construction with options in either bronze or stainless steel. Their design is optimized for installation in challenging environmental conditions, ensuring high functional reliability through the use of a vulcanized elastomeric insulator with a patented cone/lip seal. Additionally, the connectors incorporate an extra seal ring in the plug area that guarantees exceptional long-term performance across various applications. The metric locking thread in the coupling nut allows for secure locking even under shock loads. These connectors also offer longitudinally watertight and double-sided plug-in pressure hull penetrations according to VG 85519 standards, facilitating the introduction of thoroughly tested electrical and hybrid signals into a pressure vessel. Since 1983, pressure hull penetrations have been part of GISMA's product portfolio, meeting numerous standards for shocks, detonations, and vibrations.

The Series 22 electrical and hybrid connectors, with their robust bronze or stainless steel housings, are specifically designed as installation connectors for long-term underwater applications. Under the most challenging environmental conditions, the longitudinally watertight vulcanized elastomer insulating body with patented cone/lip seal ensures high operational reliability.

The additional sealing ring in the plug-in area ensures very high long-term performance for various applications. Furthermore, the metric locking thread in the union nut enables secure locking under shock loads. The longitudinally watertight and double-sided plug-in pressure vessel feedthroughs according to VG 85519 offer the possibility of introducing electrical and hybrid signals into a pressure vessel with 100% testing.

Pressure vessel penetrations have been part of the GISMA product portfolio since 1983 and are tested and qualified according to numerous standards (shock, bursting, vibration, etc.).
