Friess - Model D -Electrostatic Oil Cleaner
Use this FRIESS model on equipment where oil contains less than 500 ppm water. It is only possible to build up an electrostatic field when there is virtually no current flowing. Therefore, the conductivity of the liquid to be cleaned must be kept as low as possible.
However, water in the oil counteracts this. For this reason, in an Electrostatic Oil Cleaning System such as the FRIESS Model D, the oil must be suitable for the process right from the start. Among other things, this means that it must contain less than 500 ppm water. This is the only way in which the electrical resistance can be kept as high as possible.
By means of different control systems, the Electrostatic Oil Cleaning system from FRIESS can be flexibly adapted to the application. Thus, it does not matter whether you want to filter one large oil tank or several small ones.
