Leine Linde - Model 647/648 -Ex-Proof Absolute Encoders for Harsh Environments
The Leine Linde 600 series includes the ATEX and IECEx certified model 647 and model 648 stainless steel absolute encoders, designed for challenging industrial environments. These encoders are available in both hollow shaft and solid shaft configurations. Model 647 is a singleturn encoder, while model 648 is a multiturn encoder. They employ robust construction with inductive scanning technology, ensuring reliable operation under harsh conditions such as vibrations, moisture, saltwater, dirt, temperature extremes, and mechanical shocks. The series supports various communication interfaces, including SSI, EnDat, PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, and PROFIBUS, making them versatile for integration into different automation systems. Certified for high protection levels in explosive atmospheres, specifically gas and dust zones 1/21, the 600 series encoders are suitable for a wide range of applications in industries facing such hazardous conditions.
The ATEX- and IECEx-certified stainless steel absolute encoder models 647 and 648 are available with hollow shaft and solid shaft.
With their robust construction and inductive scanning, these absolute encoders work well also when subjected to vibrations, moisture, salt water, dirt, heat and cold, or shock from strong mechanical forces.
Model 647 is a singleturn encoder and model 648 is a multiturn encoder. The models are available with SSI and EnDat signal output as well as PROFINET, DeviceNet, CANopen, and PROFIBUS interfaces. Certifications include high level of protection in atmospheres with gas and dust, zone 1/21.
