SISMAT - Externally Fed Rotary Sieves
Externally Fed Rotary Sieves are manufactured with the aim of fine screening of floating solids and they can be safely utilised in domestic and industrial wastewater treatment plants as well as the treatment of process waters from various industries such as leather, food processing, paint, textile, pulp and paper, sugar.
In this type of screens, the screenings are collected on the outer surface of the rotary sieve manufactured through high frequency welding of V-notched wedge wires, coiled in spiral with a special device. Because of this wire provided, not only it is practically impossible for the sieve to be clogged, but also the permeability rate is very high. This type of screen can separate all solids with a particle size of 0.25-3mm from the wastewater. The screenings collected on the outer surface of the rotary sieve can be scraped with a scraper blade and discharged either to a waste container or directly to the conveyor system. A pressurised water spraying system is present on the inner surface of the rotary sieve against any possibility of clogging.
