Southeast Machinery - Model KP Series -Extruders Two Stage Compounding Systems for Pelletizing Heat Sensitive Materials

KP Series of extruders are compounding systems for pelletizing heat sensitive materials. The system consists of two stages, the first is a SHJ co-rotating twin screw extruder for melting and mixing the material, and the second series is a SJ single screw extruder for metering material into the pelletizer. This system allows for better control of shearing and compounding the material without the overheating problems seen on a single screw extrusion system. It is best suited for PVC and other heat sensitive materials.
