FGM - Pulsejet Bag Filter
Pulsejet bag filter: high efficiency. A pulsejet bag filter is just one type of fabric filter. In fact, this type of dust filtration equipment can be divided starting from the type of cleaning used. Whatever the type of technique used to clean the sleeve, the principle is that a sufficient amount of energy must be released to detach the dust from the fabric. Although the first historical typology of these filters is the one with cleaning through the mechanical shaker, the pulsejet technology has successfully established itself for a whole series of advantages.
First of all an advantage of pulsejet filters – compared to those with shaker – is a reduced size of the bags. In fact, a high gas-to-fabric ratio allows the use of a smaller amount of fabric although this then causes a greater pressure drop.
Pulsejet cleaning uses compressed air to "shoot" a shot of air into the sleeves causing them to expand violently.
In the same way as compared to the shaking technology, the fabric reaches its maximum extension, widens the fibers and releases the dust on the bottom of the filter.
In particular, it should be emphasized that the direction of the air in a pulsejet bag filter is opposite to those with shaking cleaning.
