If you want to get maximum use of your filter – making as few changes and replacements as possible – it is necessary to consult a filter supplier that has the competence and the resources to recommend the right quality and manufacture with the right fit. We have the grades that meets your requirements. In order to be able to find exactly the right filter, many different factors must be taken into consideration which together create a broad spectrum of variations. The factors which affect the quality of your filter include amongst others fibre blend, surface structure, mechanical/chemical treatment, confectioning, etc. Always ask us for advice when it is time to replace filters. Needle Felt
There are many different kinds of fibres which we use depending on the type of application and we offer all of them. It can be a fibre in Polypropylene, Acrylic, Polyester, PPS, Aramid, P84, PTFE, Glass or combinations thereof. Filter bags are often manufactured in needle felt, but there are other fabrics and non wovens which in specific cases are more suitable.
Calendering (Super Glaze)
Normally most needle felts are calendered or singed on the dust side in order to facilitate removal of dust when cleaning the filter bags.
Microfiber
There are various treatments which make materials grease and moisture resistant or give them increased chemical resistance.

Membranes
PTFE-membrane is most frequently used when there is a requirement for extremely high extraction and where the dust comprises fine particles.
