MegaSecur - Flood Pump System
To ensure peace of mind and peace of mind in the event of a flood, MegaSecur offers a pumping kit specifically adapted to your needs. Equipped with a 2-inch (5 cm) outlet, the pump offered by MegaSecur is robust and designed specifically for wastewater work. Its flow rate is 250 liters per minute (66 GPM US). Its maximum water column is 39 feet / 12 M. It plugs into a 110 V outlet and requires 7.5 AMP. We have included a camlock fitting to facilitate its quick connection. For added safety, it is equipped with a long 22`-4`` (6.8 M) cord, which will prevent you from having to add an extension cord and will thus ensure that the connection of your installation will not end up under the water.

The 2″Ø x 16½ feet (5 cm x 5 M) hose, equipped with standard male and female camlock connectors, has been designed not to be too long and bulky, thus allowing an easy and appropriate installation for your needs.
To ensure that it does not run dry, the pump can be connected to a float. The length of the float wire must be proportional to that of the pump wire (22’-4″ or 6.8 M) to ensure that the connection does not end up in the water and is thus safe.
The pumping assembly includes a perforated plastic basket. We suggest that you bury it in water halfway up its height in order to create a sufficient water reserve for the installation of the pump. This will ensure effective drainage at the back of your dam and allow for the efficient filtration of large debris that could interfere with the proper functioning of the pump.

To complete our set, we wrap your pump in a heavy-duty PVC canvas envelope, impervious to bugs and easy to handle with its 2 handles made of polyester straps. Yellow in color, like our Water-Gate water barriers, this envelope will allow you to quickly find your pump assembly on your shelves in an emergency situation.
