Flotation System
DAF systems are a useful tool to solve problems with sewage treatment and separation of the sediment. In our installations we use technical solutions that are characterized by reliability, by optimal usage of energy. Control of the whole system is done by PLC controller with a touch screen. Transparency and simpliness of menu allows the user to watch the work of the system and change the parameters of single devices if necessary. What is more, our flotation systems are always equipped with a flow meter which is connected with frequency inverter to realizing constant flow of sewage by DAF device and a pH controller which dosing automaticly neutraliser to hold correct pH.
FLOTATION – is a way of separating the phases, which depends on carrying the wastes from sewage up to the surface by air bubbles. In contrast to sedimentation in the process of flotation it is possible to curry up particles of bigger and smaller weight then water.
DAF has a wide application in ways of treating sewage, which are susceptible to coagulation or include fat, suspension or high charge of COD.
Flotation systems have found application also to:
- dehydrating and thickening active sludge,
- removing from sewage heavy metals,
- enriching and purifying,
- resources recycling (fat).
