Flownamics Seg-Flow - Model S3 - Automated Sampling System

Introducing the new generation of the Flownamics® automated sampling system, the Seg-Flow S₃®. This product line is characterized by robust hardware, the intuitive handling of tubing with intelligent pinch valves and non-contact ultrasonic sensors. A series of LED status lights indicate the phases of sampling and the sequence of cleaning.

The new Flownamics Seg-Flow S₃ user interface offers intuitive menus with live flow path status and reagent level information. The optional Flownamics Sample-Mod S₃® module can be used for sample pre-dilution. The Sample-Mod S₃ automatically adds reagents to the native sample and then distributes the sample to up to four analyzers or filling systems. The central Reagent-Manifold on the Seg-Flow cleans and disinfects the sample fluid path. Samples can be stored in Flownmics’ temperature controlled FlowFrac™ 1000 Fraction Collector to maintain sample integrity.

The Seg-Flow® Automated On-line Sampling System provides multiple bioprocess monitoring and control solutions for improving process performance. The Seg-Flow® system’s patented Segmented On-line Sampling technology allows rapid and accurate sampling for 8 vessels or process streams and sample delivery to 4 analyzers and/or fraction collectors. Several feed control options are available with the Seg-Flow® automated sampling system, which can control 2 pumps per vessel. Existing off-line and at-line analytics are seamlessly integrated into a multi-functional on-line PAT tool through the Seg-Flow® system’s communication interface and FlowWeb™ control software. The FlowWeb™ software simultaneously acquires all integrated instrument data and can export the data to any OPC-enabled SCADA for enhanced process monitoring and control.
