Fluid Dynamics - Model Magstream-p -Preventing Scaling in Phosphate Lines
Blocking of nozzles in zinc phosphate lines can be a major problem, but with Magstream P these problems can be dramatically reducedNot only can nozzles blocking be reduced but the quantities of sludge produced in the plants can be reduced too. For example Jaguar found that the amount of sludge formed in their paint plant more than halved when treated with Magstream-P.
Magstream P is a patented array of special magnets housed in a stainless steel housing and with the pole heads installed in a catalytic retainer. As the solids in the phosphate solution pass through the magnetic gap an electrical current is generated that causes the particles to create colloids that stay in suspension and are neither attracted to the surfaces of the paint plant nor do they agglomerate to form heavy particles that then form sludge. As the solids in the phosphate solution pass through the magnetic gap an electrical current is generated that causes the particles to create colloids that stay in suspension and are neither attracted to the surfaces of the paint plant nor do they agglomerate to form heavy particles that then form sludge.
Installation of Magstream
Installation is simple, Units are installed on the discharge side of the recirculating pump, and become part of the pipework.
Typical Application
Motor plants:
- Honda
- Jaguar
- Nissan
- Ferguson
- General Motors Armstrong patents
- Electronics Sanyo
- Sharp
- Vero
- White Goods
- Hoover
