Foam / Water System

This system may be divided into two types, the fixed monitor system and the water/foam system. Use of the fixed monitor system as an extinguishing agent to extinguish fires is when there is a need to fight the fires from a distance. The water/foam system is usually utilised to fight fires within the protected area by way of sprinklers which discharges water/foam to blanket the fire. This system is popular in ships, aircraft hangers and refineries.
