Drumline - Model 9300-0002 -Fossil Aquarian High-Pressure Probe

The Aquarian 9300-0002 is a high-pressure probe manufactured by Fossil Power Systems. This probe is common in a number of systems that were part of a partnership gone wrong or copied by other companies. Fossil Aquarian, Tyco, Yarway, and Penberthy all share this common design. The pricing on the OEM parts is extremely high for no real reason. The DL964 is a direct replacement for all these probes and is available at a much lower price, but with the same quality and warranty.

The Aquarian OEM probe is constructed using brazed 304 stainless steel and a zirconia insulator. 304 stainless steel is not the best material to use for probe construction. The thermal expansion coefficient (rate of expansion with increase in temperature) of the two materials does not match well and it leaves the probe susceptible to failure at the brazed joint. Drumline use materials that are more closely matched in terms of thermal expansion coefficient, which results in a more reliable probe.
