Frac Pit Liners

When frac liners are inserted into oil pits or ponds, they become a barrier that protects water from seeping into the ground and polluting the area. This can be particularly important if you are storing back-flow or water that has been treated with chemicals. This traditional water storage solution will provide you with a barrier between frac water and the ground.

The pit and pond liners are made using multiple types of fabrics and many options. One example is the PPL-24 Fabric is made of twenty-four (24) mil of reinforced polyethylene. This fabric is made with five layers, three layers made of low density polyethylene (LDPE) and two layers of high density polyethylene (HDPE).

Determining what kind of material would work best for your conditions depends on how long you will be using the liner and what types of liquids you are storing.
